Pioneers seeking interns, volunteer coordinator

St. Paul Pioneers Interns Needed
The St. Paul Pioneers, an amateur men’s full-contact football team based in St. Paul, is seeking committed, energetic and responsible individuals to serve as game day operations and marketing interns for our 2015 season.
The Pioneers, founded in 2002, are a 501c3 charitable organization, run by a volunteer board of directors. Internships with the Pioneers are not paid positions, but interns for the Pioneers have earned college credit for their work with the team.
Interns will receive free team apparel and receive free admission to Pioneers home games.
St. Paul has won three national championships and the last five Northern Elite Football League championships. Our players come from area colleges and high schools and are not paid to play. They play for the love of the game.
Intern duties include any of the following, depending on interest, experience and need:
• Helping with game-day set up and take-down.
• Distributing and collecting game uniforms.
• Assisting on the sidelines and in the press box during games.
• Reaching out to the community and potential sponsors to support Pioneers football.
The Pioneers play a Spring/Summer game schedule, with Saturday afternoon games starting at the end of April and running through mid-August. The Pioneers play home games at SeaFoam Stadium on the campus of Concordia University-St. Paul.
